The Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) is advertising for Rail Accident Inspectors.

The Branch is seeking inspectors for front line work in both our Derby and Woking offices. Whenever there is an accident or incident on the UK’s railways, you will be among the first to respond. You will manage operations both onsite and during all following investigations - carrying out interviews, managing other specialists, commissioning third parties and securing invaluable evidence. Having done so, you will analyse and report upon the factors that lead to incidents, thereby helping ensure that lessons are learnt.
